FTP Commander 8.0: This freeware client program features a window with two frames; one showing files and directories on the user’s computer, the other displaying items on the server. There are also commercial versions of this software. Download
Fresh FTP: This freeware application offered by FreshWebmaster.com takes slightly longer to download, but offers some features not available in the free version of FTP Commander - like multiple connections and resuming interrupted uploads. Download
Most versions of Windows include a basic client program of this type; just type “FTP” at the command prompt. However, it lacks many features and is not as easy to use as these free window-based software packages.
