Here are some of the best web sites to download freeware computer software programs…

Tucows: Windows, Macintosh, and Linux software. This site allows results to be filtered for “Freeware” under “Filter by” at the top of the download results.

ZDNet Downloads: Offers Macintosh and Windows freeware in an easy-to-use format. After searching, select your OS and “Free” under the “Show Only” menus.

Freeware Files: Download site specific to free software. Conveniently shows the OS, size, date, category, and rating for each program in the search result listings.

I haven’t been able to post here recently because I’ve been moving (and getting ready to move), but I should be able to start posting regularly again.
